The relationship between the Internet and people's life
When people have entered into the 21st century, the Internet has developed and expanded rapidly in the world, it has been a new media in everyone’s life. (L. Garton, & B. Wellman, 1995) Because of the Internet, our daily lives have been changed, such as communication, ways of getting information, shopping and so on. At the same time, our lives are more colorful and convenient than before. In this paper, we will talk about how the Internet has a notable influence to everyone. From that we can identify that the Internet have been shaping people’s lives and ideas.
Discussion
In the current days, nearly 100% people in the world use Internet everyday, so the Internet has played an important role in our lives. With the Internet, people can do a lot of things which have to be done in the real life before. (T. Flew, 2002) So someone said that everyone was a point of the world, and the Internet was the line which connected all of the points and produced a new world. In Internet we are able to watch movies, listen to the music, shopping and so on. All of these actions are never thought before.
Internet has the influence to people’s consumption.
When the online shopping appears, the way of people’s consumption has been changed. More and more people prefer to do some shopping at home. (P. DiMaggio, & E. Hargitta, 2001) From the screen, consumers are able to see everything’s price, appearance, use method and so on. There are a lot of similar things online, so consumers can compare with them easily, and then choose the right ones. After shopping, consumers can contact which the sellers convenient by E-mail and MSN. Therefore, we can conclude that online shopping is not limited by the time and space, except that consumers do not need to see the face of salesman, too.
Internet has the influence to people’s education and office.
In the current time, teachers do not need to enter the classrooms to teach. Because through the online video teachers can talk with their students. And students can send their homework to teachers by E-mail. Office is same with that. Managers and workers have the online meeting, no matter how far they are. Workers write documents at home, when they finish them, they can send them to the managers by the Internet. Therefore, we can say that the Internet change the traditional education and office, it makes them more efficient than before.
Internet has the influence to people’s communication.
The Internet increased breadth, frequency, and depth among people’s communication. In the informational world, people need more information and communication than before. Just because of the Internet, we have more opportunities to connect with others no matter where they are. Therefore, the Internet makes us not think over the distance and time when we want to communication. In the virtual society, chatting rooms that provide a model for the modern society, supply a no obstacle communication for people who have a fast-paced life and fulfill their desires. Except that, when we talk out our viewpoints online, we do not need to think other’s attitude. So in this world, no identity, name, gender and status, all of the people are equal and independent. (J. Steve, 1999)
Internet has the influence to people’s entertainment.
When the Internet does not appear, people play cards, listen to the music, watch TV and other channels for entertainment. But these entertainments are limited by the space, time and members. For example, if you want to play cards, you need to call your friends to play with you. However, the Internet is able to diminish these limits and make people’s lives colorful. Because you can play cards, listen to the music and watch TV in the Internet.
Internet has been an indispensable part in people’s life.
The Internet appears in the society in the current days, but the relationship among people and Internet is closer by closer. It has been changing everyone’s ideas and turning the world smaller than before, so someone has said that the earth has been changed to be a village. From his words, we can know that the Internet plays an important role in the current society and is welcomed by a number of people. Everyone can discard the geographical limit by the development of the Internet to come in contact with each other. Therefore, the Internet has transformed to an indispensable implement for people’s life, such as shopping, writing report, exchanging, chatting, noticing, even throwing missiles, sending satellites and so on. They must open computer, click mouse, and operate keyboard, no matter what they want to do.
Conclusion
Nowadays the Internet has been a mutual media, the accommodations platform of life and the ditches of information, it transmits all of the corners of everyone’s daily life. Because of it, a lot of influence has been made, for example people’s life has changed to be more and more convenient. (J. Scott, 2000) Everyone are able to use search engines, news portal, network stations and so on to obtain the current news; use video chat, voice, E-mail, the text and other methods to communicate; use online games, the broadband, online music and so on to have the entertainment; use E-commerce platform and online payment system to make a transaction. One word, the Internet still makes the relevant to our contemporary society.

week 7 lecture summery
this week i got some information about the copyright content on the Internet that i had never concern it before.
Copy protection is most commonly found on videotapes, DVDs, computer software discs, video game discs and cartridges, and more recently, some audio CDs. Historically, most companies that publish works on these media have believed that copy protection will increase the company's revenues, by limiting the ability of the consumer to make copies of the media. In the absence of copy protection, most of these media are relatively easy to copy in their entirety using a machine. This results in a situation where consumers can easily make copies of the items to give to their friends, a practice known as "casual copying". Because this practice reduces the number of people in the market who lack the product, it is therefore argued that the ease of copying such media robs the company of potential customers. The counter argument says that no sale is lost, because the people who obtain free copies only use what they can get for free, and therefore would not purchase their own copy if they were unable to obtain a free copy. some people believe that, in some jurisdictions, unauthorized users may not be violating any software license that is created on consent by contract. By using an unauthorized copy, they do not become parties to the sales contract, and hence not bound by the license. Only the original purchaser may be found in infringement. However, most software requiring installation has a licensing dialogue that requires the end user to accept the license before installation is completed (referred to as a "click-through license"), which obviously prevents subsequent installations. Most, if not all software now has a first installation license that a user agrees to by opening the shrink-wrap around the product (a "shrink-wrap license"), and even though such installation is gratuitous it may nevertheless be enough to create a contract between the copyright holder and the end user (who benefits from the use of the software).
However, as the second installation in the shrink wrap license may not be done by the person who removed the original shrink wrap (or opened a sealed envelope or some such variation), the click-through license is preferred because it will bind all subsequent installations.

Lecture3 & 4 summary
“Shot as a word” demonstrated the meaning of the different scenarios, such as the close up answers the question of ‘who’, by showing our character in detail, the mid shot answers the ‘what’ question by showing your subject performing an action.
The selection of angles to show different characters also played an important role. Moreover, inserts and cutaways providing extra information inside or outside the scene. So, select the shot for distance and insert, is an interesting and necessary process to the future study and practice.
Week 2 Lecture summary
I was interest in this week lecture which is given me some information about the history of internet and computer.
Modern computer technology is inseparable from the rapid development of human scientific and technological knowledge, .As the development of modern science going on, the naissance of computer has bound science and production ever more tightly together.
Lee de Forest invents the vacuum tube in 1906, it is contributed to the development of computer in the world, after that IBM's establishment is a landmark in the history of modern technology, Although the tube has entered the age of modern computer field, it was not until the invention of the transistor, computer find a new start. However, due to transistor computer still can not meet customer requirements, the invention of integrated circuits reduce the size of the computer, make them faster and reduce the fault. Until 1975, Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft Corporation,Internet technology and multimedia technology have also been unprecedented application and really started to change our lives.
